DAa dosyasını açmadan bakmak için daemon tools kullanılıyor. programı kurduktan sonra bilgisayarı yeniden başlatmanız gerekli.

daemon tools´un sistem çubuğundaki simgesine sağ tıklayıp "Mount image" seçeneği ile elinizdeki DAA dosyasını seçeceksiniz. sonra "Bilgisayarım" penceresinde yeni bir CD rom sürücünüz olduğunu göreceksiniz.

Bu yönteme sanal CD deniliyor. DAA ve ISO dosyaları gibi birçok CD yedek dosyasını açmakta kullanılıyor.
